Cameron Brink is known for her stylish looks.
Her latest, though, is all practical.
The Los Angeles Sparks star in the WNBA plays for the Breeze in the 3-on-3 Unrivaled league. There, she’s a teammate of Paige Bueckers.
And on the floor in Unrivaled right now, Brink has a clear mask on her face, reminding of former Detroit Pistons star Rip Hamilton in the NBA.
Why is Cameron Brink wearing a mask?
Cameron Brink is wearing a mask to protect against injury.
She broke her nose in the final game of the 2025 WNBA season.
She has been wearing the mask to prevent against further injury.
Brink hurt it more in an Unrivaled game in January, so she’s just trying to cope with the injury.
The mask doesn’t appear to be hampering her play style. She’s still attacking the basket and defending in the paint.Â
Masks have been known to be a hindrance to certain players, who want to get rid of them as soon as possible.Â
Brink certainly would like to keep her nose in place, too, so it’s a tradeoff.Â
We’ll have to see how long she wears it and if she still has it when the Sparks begin their new season.
