ATP Montpellier Semifinal Predictions
Martin Damm vs Adrian Mannarino
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Martin Damm has impressed one and all this week. The 22 year old American did well in qualifying and then proceeded to beat the likes of Hubert Hurkacz and Luca Nardi. Damm has been serving especially well aiding him with the fast court conditions. He now takes on French veteran Adrian Mannarino who will no doubt enjoy the crowd support.
Mannarino did not have a good start to 2026 with a first round exit at the Australian Open. However he has managed to notch up fantastic wins over Ugo Humbert and a hard fought win over Arthur Gea.
This match may well be decided on how well Damm serves. He is no doubt the more speedier of the two but including his qualifying matches, the American may start to feel the effects of fatigue as the match goes on. Expect Mannarino to be smart about his tennis as he has been all these years and the Frenchman should be able to counter from the baseline effectively.
Prediction: Mannarino in 3
Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Titouan Droguet
Head-to-head – First Meeting
Felix Auger-Aliassime has bounced back in style after conceding a walk over in the first round at the Australian Open. The Canadian first beat the dangerous veteran Stan Wawrinka and then dominated in his match up against Arthur Fils. His serving has been top notch and it will be key to his success in the last four.
Titouan Droguet has had a fantastic week after qualifying and backed that up with wins over the fourth and eighth seeds here. Droguet has been serving a lot of aces and it should make things very interesting.
Expect this match to go the distance but in the crunch moments, Auger-Aliassime should be able to rely on his superior main tour experience to just edge this one.
Prediction: Auger-Aliassime in 3
