CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College Men’s Golf returns for its spring season this weekend, as they travel to Humacao, Puerto Rico for the Palmas Del Mar Collegiate. The three-day, 54-hole tournament begins on Sunday, February 8 at 7:30 a.m. (ET) with a shotgun start.

Boston College is one of three ACC teams competing in the tournament, with six of the 15 competing team ranking in the top 100 nationally, according to Scoreboard powered by Clippd.

The Flamboyán Course at the Palmas Athletic Club is located on the southeast coast of Puerto Rico. An 18-hole championship golf layout designed by Rees Jones, it offers a challenging and scenic game with wide fairways, strategic bunkers, and beautiful tropical landscaping.

The 12th hole is a notable par 3 that plays downhill into the wind toward a raised green surrounded by a canal, while the 17th hole provides a par 4 with multiple bunkers that line the right side of threfairway.

Built on a former sugar cane plantation, the Flamboyán Course has been ranked as the second-best course in Puerto Rico by Golf Digest (November 2003) and the best course on the island by Barron’s Magazine (March 1999).
