Caitlin Clark is preparing for her third WNBA season, one that has been long anticipated after injuries disrupted much of her second year in the league. The Indiana Fever star was limited to 13 games during the 2025 season after dealing with multiple injuries, including a left quad strain, a left groin issue and later a right groin injury that ultimately ended her season.

Clark last appeared on July 15 in a win over the Connecticut Sun before being ruled out for the remainder of the year, bringing a frustrating close to a campaign that had been hyped following her record-breaking rookie season.

Encouraging signs have emerged during the offseason. Clark recently joined Team USA at training camp, a development viewed as a positive indicator that she has recovered from her injuries and is trending toward being available when the WNBA season begins. Her participation in on-court work with USA Basketball has fueled optimism that she will be ready to play when the season potentially opens in May.

As fans continue to track her return, a video circulating on social media has given them more reasons to be excited about her return to action.

In the clip, Clark is shown juggling during a personal offseason workout. The video drew attention because she struggled with the same skill back in September in a clip filmed by Fever teammate Sophie Cunningham.

Fever fans were impressed by the noticeable improvement and praised Clark for her dedication to improving her skill set.

“I’m actually so impressed bc she couldn’t juggle at all just a few months ago in the vid sophie posted. someone been practicing lmfao,” one fan wrote.

“I feel like she probably almost single mindedly obsessed over it until she could do it,” another fan added.

“CC is something else! 🔥 Whatever Caitlin Clark wants to accomplish she will accomplish. 🤩,” a third fan noted.

“She is a perfectionist. She won’t stop practicing until she become expect in any craft,” said another.

“There is literally nothing she can’t learn to do well when she locks in, it’s wild lol,” one fan remarked.

“You can see she was practicing. Mediocrity is not her style 😂,” another fan posted.

Juggling helps develop enhanced hand-eye coordination and is a skill that can translate directly to better performance on the court.

Clark is expected to be back in the lineup during the Fever’s preseason schedule, which includes matchups against the Dallas Wings and the New York Liberty. Indiana is slated to open the regular season against the Wings on May 9, though that timeline remains uncertain.

Ongoing WNBA collective bargaining agreement negotiations with the players’ association continue to loom over the league and could impact the start of the season or alter the schedule if the labor dispute persists.
