Daniil Donchenko battered and bloodied Alex Morono en route to his 13th career victory at UFC Vegas 113.
Donchenko came out swinging heavy, but it was his brutal calf kicks that largely dominated the opening round. At least, until the Ukrainian landed a right hand that sent Morono crashing to the canvas.
Smelling blood in the water, Donchenko unleashed a flurry of ground strikes, but Morono never stopped moving. With the clock winding down, Morono eventually scrambled back to his feet and hilariously spat blood in Donchenko’s direction just before the horn.

With Morono’s nose still streaming, Donchenko went back to work, punishing Morono’s lead leg and drawing more blood from his opponent’s mouth. A slick spinning elbow from Donchenko caught Morono on his lip, causing a rather nasty split on the right-hand side of his face.
But despite being bloodied up and essentially fighting on one leg, Morono never once backed down.

Donchenko continued to dominate in the third, dropping Morono twice with a pair of looping right hands. That, along with a relentless lead leg attack, earned the TUF 33 winner a well-deserved decision victory.
Official Result: Daniil Donchenko def. Alex Morono via unanimous decision (30-26, 30-26, 30-27).
