Trade rumors are swirling around Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby and one NFL insider thinks the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions and Baltimore Ravens may have interest if he’s available.

Those three teams were mentioned by ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, who says upwards of 20 different teams could have interest in Crosby if he hits the trade block.

“The reality is the Raiders are still far away from significant winning, and the trade interest in Crosby is incredibly robust. In fact, I believe more than a dozen teams, possibly up to 20, will at least inquire with levels of serious intent,” Fowler said.

“And there are some natural would-be contenders, including the Bills, Lions, 49ers, Cowboys and Ravens,” he added.

Information about Crosby’s future has been all over the place.

FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer said he doesn’t envision Crosby playing another snap with the Raiders, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Crosby is “in a great place” with the Raiders and hasn’t requested a trade.

But that doesn’t mean a trade won’t happen. Crosby has long been frustrated with the Raiders over the lack of winning and perennial dysfunction, and it’s possible Crosby’s frustration over being shut down early last season will be the final straw.

It makes sense to link the Ravens, Lions and Bills to possible interest in Crosby, as all three teams need a significant addition along the edge.

The Lions are probably the least likely team to make a move for Crosby given the fact that general manager Brad Holmes hasn’t been keen on making expensive additions given the team’s need to extend its homegrown players.

However, with the Lions’ Super Bowl window starting to close following a disappointing 2025 campaign, perhaps Holmes will change his tune.

The Ravens are in a better spot to acquire Crosby than the Bills given their superior cap space situation that has Baltimore with $22 million to work with, and that’s before a Lamar Jackson extension that could open up more money in the short term. The Bills, on the other hand, are $7.4 million over the cap.

When it comes to draft capital, all three teams have enough to pull off a trade for Crosby, although Baltimore has more than Detroit and Buffalo.
