A man and a woman are in the hospital following two separate collisions in North York on Thursday afternoon.
The first one occurred just after 3:20 p.m. near Jane Street and Frith Road, north of Sheppard Avenue West.

Toronto police said a vehicle and an e-scooter collided, but images from the scene show a bike lying on the grass.
The rider, a man in his 30s, sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to a trauma centre, Toronto paramedics said.
The driver of the vehicle, police said, remained at the scene.
Around 4:15 p.m., police and paramedics were called to Weston Road and Finch Avenue West for a collision involving an e-scooter.

The rider, a woman, was transported to a trauma centre in serious but non-life-threatening condition, paramedics told CP24.
The driver of the other vehicle involved stayed on the scene, police said.
The Canadian Institute for Health Information said on Thursday that e-scooter injuries were on the rise across the country.
Its data showed a 32 per cent increase in e-scooter hospitalizations in Canada over a one-year period, rising from 375 in 2022-2023 to 498 in 2023-2024.
