The Thunder stand alone with the best record in the NBA right now, but it hasn’t been easy recently.

They’ve struggled against certain teams and have also had to deal with the injury bug.

Luckily, one major piece to the Thunder‘s core won’t be out with an injury for much longer, after a recent injury report was released.

Is Jalen Williams playing Monday against the Lakers?

Thunder forward Jalen Williams wasn’t listed on the injury report ahead of Monday’s game against the Lakers.

This will be his first game back after a 10-game absence.

Williams made his season debut in late November, after missing the first 19 games with an injury.

A few weeks ago, he suffered his most recent injury, which is what caused him to miss the last 10 games.

The Thunder were just 5-5 in that stretch, after going 17-7 with Williams in the lineup this season.

It will be a major addition to the rotation, not only because Williams is an all-star level player, but especially because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been out with an injury of his own recently.

In 24 games this season, Williams is averaging 16.8 points, 4.8 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 29.6 minutes.
