Andrei Arlovski is a cancer survivor, and he shared a strong message after capturing heavyweight gold at BKFC KnuckleMania 6.
Arlovski did battle with fellow ex-UFC star Ben Rothwell inside Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia this past Saturday. “The Pitbull” handled business, as he left Rothwell beaten and battered into the third round, where the damage was simply too much. A ringside doctor observed a cut on Rothwell’s head, which led to the TKO ruling in favor of Arlovski.
This means that Arlovski has captured yet another world title in his legendary combat sports career. At the end of his in-ring interview, Arlovski shared a special message to his fellow cancer survivors and those who are currently in the fight of their lives.
Andrei Arlovski: Guys, people who are in the battle right now with the fucking cancer, don’t fucking give up. I’m a great fucking example. Three times cancer survivor. Keep fucking fight. Life is beautiful. #BKFC #KnuckleManiaVI #KM6 pic.twitter.com/BMUla3dmbH

“Most important, guys, people who are in a battle right now with [expletive] cancer, don’t [expletive] give up,” Arlovski said. “I’m a great [expletive] example. Three times cancer survivor. Keep [expletive] fighting. Life is beautiful.”
Arlovski is now 2-0 under the BKFC banner. He made his promotional debut back in June 2025, scoring a fourth-round TKO finish over Josh Copeland. “The Pitbull” and Rothwell had teased mutual interest in colliding under bare-knuckle rules prior to their clash on Saturday. Arlovski is now on top of the mountain in BKFC’s heavyweight division at the age of 47.
Arlovski has gone 4-0 since his last fight under the UFC banner. There are the two aforementioned BKFC wins. He also defeated Kelz via fourth-round TKO under the Misfits Boxing banner. In addition, Arlovski scored a second-round TKO finish over Terrance Hodges at Dirty Boxing 1.
What’s next for “The Pitbull” remains to be seen, but fans are thankful that the MMA icon has been able to defeat cancer and continue to find success at his craft all these years later.
