Will Campbell was involved in a lot of highlights during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The problem is that they were Seattle Seahawks highlights, and New England Patriots lowlights.

The left tackle played one of the worst games of the entire NFL season on the biggest stage.

Over and over again, the Seahawks ran around Campbell and even right through him to get to Drake Maye.

That included on a bull rush that led to a fumble, and legitimately double-digit other times when Maye got into trouble.

According to Jack Andrade of NFL Research, Campbell allowed 14 pressures during the game. That’s the most allowed by any player in a game the entire season.

Campbell declined to talk to reporters after the game, too, which isn’t the end of the world but does show he was not feeling good about how things had gone.

Campbell was the No. 4 overall pick out of LSU. It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

He had moments of promise in his rookie season, too. There’s tape that displays that he can be a good player.

But this Super Bowl tape? Campbell will either watch it every day for intense motivation, or he’ll never, ever watch it again.

Viewers didn’t even need that pressures stat to know that Campbell was getting burned. It was happening so often that it was impossible to miss.

It certainly adds another question for the Pats this offseason. They would’ve felt they were set protecting Maye’s blindside for years to come when they drafted Campbell. Now? They can’t be so sure.
