TUCSON, Ariz. – Marshall Women’s Golf opens its 2026 Spring schedule on Monday morning with the 2026 Thunderbird Intercollegiate, hosted by LPGA player Lorena Ochoa, at Tucson Country Club in Tucson, Ariz.

The event features 15 teams – seven of which are nationally-ranked, including No. 1 ranked Stanford.

“We are excited to get out to Arizona and compete against some great teams this week,” Marshall Women’s Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. “It’s exciting to get the spring season going and to get on the course for a fun tournament at a beautiful venue.”

The 54-hole event gets underway on Monday with a shotgun start at 10:45 a.m. ET/8:45 a.m. MT. The event will feature continuous play into the second round where those competing will look to get 36 holes in on Monday.

Tuesday’s final day of competition will get underway at 10:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. MT with either the final round of action or the completion of the second round, followed immediately by final round action.

Competing for the Herd this week are Madison Borders, Olivia Kochan, Maddi Hudson, Savannah Hawkins and Taylor Sargent.
