Soccer Roundup: Palestine, Brook Hill extend winning streaks

Palestine recently picked up two soccer victories to bump its winning streak to 10 matches.
The Wildcats took a 13-0 win over Palestine Westwood on Friday.
Rolando Gallegos had three goals and four assists for Palestine (13-3, 4-0). Seby Ledesma had two goals and three assists. Ismael Gonzalez had two goals and two assists. Reece Garcia had four goals and an assist. Sebastian DeSantiago had a goal and an assist. Davi Araujo had a goal. Jaylon Harris and Alonzo Escareno had an assist.
Palestine also took a 6-1 win over Hudson. Ismael Gonzalez had two goals and an assist. Gallegos had a goal and an assist. Ledesma had a goal and goal assists. Nathan Gonzales and Baltasar Quevedo each had a goal, and Juan Flores had an assist.
BROOK HILL 1, CRISTO REY 0
Jose Gonzalez scored the lone goal as Brook Hill grabbed a 1-0 victory over Cristo Rey.
Isak Lundqvist had eight saves.
Brook Hill (15-0, 6-0) will compete in the district tournament Thursday and Friday in Round Rock.

BROOK HILL 4, CRISTO REY 0
Four different Guard players scored a goal as Brook Hill took a 4-0 win over Cristo Rey.
Athea El Helou, Michaelann Tarrant, Peyton Byars and Scarlett Kerr all had a goal for the Guard.
Gabriela Fernandes had three saves.
Brook Hill (9-5-1, 5-1-0) finished second in district and will face the winner of Regents and Cristo Rey in the semifinals of the district tournament at noon Thursday in Round Rock.
