According to a criminal complaint obtained by ESPN, Pearce allegedly stalked and rammed Jackson’s car multiple times over the weekend during what police are calling a deliberate chase.

The report says Pearce followed Jackson through Miami-Dade County, and when she stopped at a red light, he jumped out of his SUV and tried to yank her door open.

Jackson, who plays for the Los Angeles Sparks, made a run for the nearest police station.

That’s when things got worse. Pearce allegedly rear-ended her car, then tried to cut her off. As she neared the station, he reportedly slammed into her head-on.

Police confirmed Jackson’s vehicle had damage consistent with her story.

Pearce allegedly fled the scene, leading officers on a short chase before he was caught. He posted a $20,500 bond and was released Sunday night.

Jackson told authorities the two had dated for about three years, but she had recently ended things and cut off contact.

Pearce, drafted 25th overall out of Tennessee, just finished third in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting after notching 10.5 sacks. Now he’s facing criminal charges and major questions about his future in the league.
