Carlos Alcaraz has strengthened his grip on the top of the ATP Rankings and doesn’t look likely to relinquish said top spot anytime soon amid his recent Australian Open title win.Alcaraz now holds three out of the four Grand Slams after he triumphed at Roland Garros and US Open last year. He was also runner-up at Wimbledon and the ATP Finals and won three Masters 1000 titles and three ATP 500 titles. It is based off an algorithm that places more weight on recent results and wins against higher ranked players.
It is open to all levels of tennis and all players regardless of age, gender, geography or skill level. They are all rated on the same skill level between 1.00 and 16.50 based on match results.
