Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, General Manager of Player Personnel Mark Pantoni, and the Ohio State staff wrapped up their 2025 recruiting class during the December Early Signing Period. They signed 26 class of 2025 recruits for a class that was the country’s No. 5-ranked recruiting class in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.
The staff is continuing to work on their 2026 recruiting efforts and currently have a class of 21 commitments, ranked as the country’s No. 7 recruiting class in the 247Sports team recruiting rankings.  Â
After coming out with their initial 2026 Top247 in April, at the end of July, 247Sports came out with their updated 2026 Top247, then again another update in mid-November, followed by one in early March, and then one in mid-May. Today, 247Sports is back again with a “tweak” update to the rankings, so there isn’t a lot of movement, but there is some.Â
