The 2026 Unrivaled season saw a whirlwind of changes on Monday. Earlier, it was announced that the Breeze BC guard Aari McDonald was ruled out for the rest of the season due to a right lower extremity injury.
McDonald, who plays for the Indiana Fever, also missed the final 13 games of the 2025 WNBA season due to a broken foot.

The grueling part of the process is that McDonald played just one game for Breeze BC this season on Jan. 5, when they won 69-62 against Vinyl BC. She played just six minutes, and that was it for the season.
Apart from this injury update, the league announced a bunch of trades that may cause a major shift for the rest of the season.
A Lot of Movement in Unrivaled
Unrivaled announced that Breeze BC acquired Courtney Williams from Vinyl BC as part of a four-team trade. The veteran guard is averaging 7.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4 assists per game this season, making 0.4 3-pointers per game on a 28.4% clip.

The Breeze need a strong finish with four games left as they are 5-5 (fourth), and a veteran scorer like Williams can be a huge help down the stretch.
On the other hand, Vinyl BC acquired Saniya Rivers from Hive BC in the deal. Rivers is tallying 5.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 1.1 steals per game, and she is making 0.3 3-pointers on 15.8% shooting. Vinyl has a 4-6 record, and Rivers can be a big boost on the defensive end.
Meanwhile, Hive BC acquired Azura Stevens from Rose BC. Stevens has tallied 9.9 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, connecting 0.9 3-pointers per game on a 26.9% shooting.

Hive BC has received a big boost on the scoring and rebounding front as they look to improve on their 5-5 record.
On Monday, there is a doubleheader in the league. Vinyl BC will take on Phantom BC at 07:30 p.m. ET, whereas Rose BC will take on Mist BC at 08:45 p.m. ET. Both games are on TNT and truTV.
The team-based 3×3 match-ups will take a brief pause as the 1-on-1 tournament will be from Wednesday through Saturday.
The tournament will feature stars like Paige Bueckers, Alyssa Thomas, Kelsey Mitchell and Breanna Stewart.
