The 2026 Unrivaled basketball season just got significantly bigger after Angel Reese’s major announcement Wednesday.

While the WNBA season is still months away, and the league has major turmoil during CBA negotiations, the Chicago Sky star appears to have made a decision on her future.

Unrivaled basketball revealed a huge update on Angel Reese, including that she will be back on the court this year. Reese is returning to Rose BC after debuting last season with the league winners.

Last year, Angel Reese and Co. won the first-ever Unrivaled championship after eight teams competed for the title. Chelsea Gray won league MVP with Reese and the rest of the squad knocking off Vinyl BC in the finals.

Unrivaled has become a major success in its infancy as women’s basketball has managed to become more mainstream. Players like Reese, Caitlin Clark and others have certainly put the spotlight on the sport.
