Rose BC is 5-6 and currently in fifth place of the Unrivaled standings. The defending league champions can rebound from that uneven start to win it all again — especially now that they have Angel Reese back.
Reese, the 3-on-3 league’s Defensive Player of the Year and leading rebounder during its debut season in 2025, has reunited with the Rose for the final month of Unrivaled’s season.

The Chicago Sky star forward initially opted out of playing in Unrivaled this season, but she’ll be front and center for the stretch run.
Reese was a big part of Unrivaled’s Year 1 success. She accounted for her fair share of firsts, including both the first ejection in the league’s history as well as its first 20-point, 20-rebound game.
The LSU product, of course, has a knack for double-doubles. Across her first two WNBA seasons, she’s accounted for 49 of them.
During her 2025 campaign in the W, she posted her first career triple-double, strung together a league-record six straight games with 15-plus rebounds and, later, became the first player in WNBA history to log multiple streaks of at least 10 games with a double-double.

She clocked out averaging 14.7 points and 12.6 rebounds per game for the Sky while shooting 45.8% from the field, 6.7 percentage points higher than the field-goal percentage she registered as a rookie in 2024.
That said, she also dealt with a lower-back injury that cost her significant time this past summer, and she grew frustrated with the Sky’s struggles, which were even more pronounced under head coach Tyler Marsh than they were when Teresa Weatherspoon was leading the team in 2024.
Reese voiced her discontent, and then the Sky suspended her for the first half of their Sept. 7 game, citing Reese making “statements detrimental to the team.”

Prior to that, she served a one-game WNBA suspension after picking up her eighth technical foul of the season.
The Sky finished 10-34 and missed the playoffs.
Reese has had another busy offseason. This time around, she’s walked the Victoria’s Secret runway, prepared the launch of her signature sneaker with Reebok and joined the production of the Netflix show “Hunting Wives,” in which she’ll appear during Season 2.
Plus, she participated in Team USA minicamp in December.
Now she’s back playing in Unrivaled, although she won’t be on the court for the league’s 1-on-1 tournament, according to The Athletic. She’ll give the Rose a boost in their final regular-season games and perhaps another postseason push. Her debut is planned for Feb. 20 against Hive BC.

Reese will reunite with Rose teammates Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Copper and Lexie Hull.
Her addition was made possible by a trade that included the Rose sending Azurá Stevens to the Hive.
