Hamilton police say the 70-year-old woman who was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Barton and Kenilworth streets Monday morning has died.
Officers say at around 11:33 a.m., the older adult woman was walking southbound through the intersection when she was hit by a Chevrolet Volt that was turning westbound onto Barton St. East.
The woman was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say the woman died from her injuries in a report Wednesday.
They said they are not identifying the woman at this time.
Authorities say the driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
