Former Olympian Efe Ajagba is scheduled to face the former IBF heavyweight titlholder Charles Martin in the main event of Zuffa Boxing 3 on Feb. 15, inside the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
As the younger fighter with the better pro record, Ajagba heads into the fight as the betting favorite with -580 boxing odds, while Martin, who’s approaching 40, is going to be the betting underdog with +450 odds. A draw result has +1800 odds.

Efe Ajagba vs. Charles Martin: Prediction
I predict a TKO/KO victory for Ajagba over Martin since he’s the younger and more explosive fighter. Although the speed difference is almost the same, Ajagba can still fire his signature one-two punch combination at a rapid rate.
At this stage of Martin’s career, he’s a more flat-footed and doesn’t move his head quickly enough to avoid punches coming his way. That’s why I think Ajagba will land the more damaging strikes until Martin gets stopped.
There’s no doubt that Martin is a veteran and battle-tested contender, but he can only absorb punches at a certain volume. If he doesn’t dodge them, it’ll eventually accumulate and his body won’t be able to hold up.
Efe Ajagba’s Recent Fight Results
Ajagba was a former Olympian who made his professional debut in July 2017. In his past five fights, he recorded four wins against Stephen Shaw, Zhan Kossobutskiy, Joseph Goodall, and Guido Vianello. His bout with Martin Baloke ended in a majority draw.
Charles Martin’s Recent Fight Results
Martin was a former IBF heavyweight champion, however in his last five matches, he only recorded three wins (against Gerald Washington, Devin Vargas, and Matthew McKinney) and suffered two losses (to Luis Ortiz and Jared Anderson).
