GULFPORT, Miss. – The ULM women’s golf team is traveling to Gulfport, Mississippi to compete in the Great River Cup, hosted by the Warhawks and Southern Miss. The tournament will be held at Windance Country Club. The 54-hole event will include two rounds of matchplay competition on Monday (Feb. 16) and a final round on Tuesday (Feb. 17). ULM is looking to make it a three-peat, as the Warhawks claimed the 2024 and 2025 titles.

The ULM women’s golf team completed its fall season on at The Ally, hosted by Mississippi State. ULM posted scores of 286-302-300 (-2, +14, +12) in the three rounds. Daniela Campillo led the team, finishing with a score of 221 (+5) and placing 31st on the leaderboard. Anna Andrysova followed closely behind after a strong first round, carding a 69. Andrysova also picked up a team-leading 10 birdies over 54 holes. Johanna Sjursen shot an even-par final round to finish nine-over. Emma Manzini also scored a 225 to reach 44th on the leaderboard with Sjursen. Tessa Ion opened play with a one-under first round (71), completing the tournament 55th overall. Zoe McLean-Tattan competed as an individual, carding a 230.
Up Next
The ULM women’s golf team will continue the fall season next week, competing in the Chevron Collegiate. The Houston-hosted event will be held from February 23 to 24.
