A man who Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) warned was being released from jail earlier this week has been arrested for breaching the conditions of his release.
Kyle Ronald Hameluck, 37, who had been convicted in 70 incidents of voyeurism, trespassing at night and indecent acts, was released from the provincial correctional centre in the city on Saturday and re-arrested the same night, SPS said.

SPS said in a news release on Feb. 15 that Hameluck was arrested around 7 p.m in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South on Feb. 14 and will appear in Provincial Court on Feb. 17.
Hameluck was expected to live in Saskatoon under court-imposed conditions that included he remain inside an approved residence from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. and not possess any non-prescribed drugs.
The conditions also required him to make no attempt to contact any past victims, even indirectly, and he cannot possess a cell phone or any digital devices that can record images or videos.
In September 2024, Hameluck was charged with 49 charges including sexual assault, 37 counts of voyeurism, four counts of prowling by night, three counts of breaching probation as well as intimidation, criminal harassment and possession of stolen property after a number of incidences involving spying on people at Saskatoon’s University of Saskatchewan campus.
The university subsequently announced a number of new safety measures including frosting to be installed on ground floor window on the campus, extra security patrols and video surveillance around residences, and “enhanced measures “related to crime prevention through environmental design.”
Hameluck offences date back to 2014
Hameluck also appeared in court in March 2024 on charges of voyeurism, stalking and harassment. In March 2022, he was sentenced for unlawfully being in a dwelling house in 2021 in a breach of probation conditions.
In 2020, Hameluck pleaded guilty to 37 voyeurism charges related to homes and off-campus residences near U of S in 2018 and 2019. At the time police said officers found 42 videos of 25 different women who were either partially undressed, naked or engaged in sexual activity on his phone.
Those offences were committed while Hameluck was on probation for recording women through their windows and masturbating in public places in 2014 and 2015.
