A person was airlifted to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg on Saturday afternoon after a ski-related incident near Russell, Man., STARS air ambulance said Sunday. 

A STARS spokesperson said they could not provide details on the individual’s condition. 

A spokesperson for Asessippi Ski Area & Resort, located north of Russell, declined to comment but said the resort’s “only concern is for the family and all involved.” 

CBC News reached out to Shared Health for comment.
