One person is in hospital after shots were fired at a home in Brampton early Saturday morning.
Peel Regional Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting shortly before 3 a.m. in the area of Mississauga Road and Mayfield Road.
A victim was located and transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries, which were later determined to be non-life-threatening.
Police have not released further details on the victim, including whether they were a man or a woman and what their age was.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene. No images or descriptions of the suspect have been released by police at this time.
