The Edible Story co-founders, Chef Alanna Fleischer and Chef Brian Cheng, met while studying in the Italian Culinary Program at George Brown College. Their shared appreciation for thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail made for a perfect pairing, and The Edible Story was born.
Brian has years of experience working in the best kitchens in Toronto, at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Italy, and as a chef at the Canadian High Commission in India. His menus strike a balance between creativity and approachability.
Meanwhile, Alanna has years of research and development experience under her belt. She leads creative direction and guest experience, combining her culinary and sommelier training with event planning and design to oversee event logistics, flow, and overall feel.
