South Surrey welcomes sweet new dessert spot

A United Kingdom-based dessert shop offered a heavenly introduction to South Surrey on Feb. 7.
Heavenly Desserts opened its first location in the Lower Mainland in early February and has already attracted a positive response from shop attendees.
Heavenly Desserts shared an Instagram post in recognition of such a welcoming presence in the South Surrey community.
“We are truly grateful for the warm welcome our Morgan Crossing location has received from the Surrey community. The response to our opening has been incredible, and we sincerely thank every guest who has visited, supported us, and shared their feedback,” the post reads.
Heavenly Desserts originated in the United Kingdom in 2008 and has now since expanded to more than 50 locations internationally.
This success was what led the dessert shop to bring their concoctions to Canada.
“We have big ambitions for our Canadian restaurants, with the vision to create memorable dessert experiences that spark joy for every guest,” shared Heavenly Desserts on their Canadian website.
The website also explains that each Heavenly restaurant is uniquely designed in decor, interiors and identity. No two stores are the same.
The South Surrey’s location is decorated with mixes of pinks, whites and a minty green inside. There is a white phone booth near the front entrance and flowers decorate the space in the same color palette surrounding the interior design.
Heavenly Desserts also offers a variety of desserts, ranging from classic to contemporary.
A signature dessert of theirs is the Croffle, which is waffle made with croissant dough, and is featured in many different ways on the menu.
Heavenly Desserts also highlights their chocolate shots and experimental dessert tapas that they say are inspired from all corners of the world.
“Your experience is at the heart of everything we do, and we remain fully committed to delivering excellence, always,” Heavenly Desserts shared on social media.
Heavenly Desserts is located at 15795 Croydon Drive Unit 110, Surrey and are open from Mon to Sun from 9 a.m – 11 p.m.
