One person is in hospital following an overnight shooting in Brampton.
One person was taken to hospital after a shooting at a Brampton residence early Saturday morning.
In an email to CP24, Peel Regional Police say officers responded at around 2:42 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the area of Mississauga Road and Mayfield Road.
The victim was transported to a trauma centre with serious injuries and is now in non-life-threatening condition, police said.
The suspect fled the area.
The investigation is being led by 22 Division’s Criminal Investigation Bureau.
