Changes are coming to several Brampton Transit routes, including updated schedules and better service to meet rider demands.
Starting next month, several routes “will be adjusted for operational changes, updated schedules, improved service reliability or to align with ridership demand,” the city says in a release.
Brampton Transit riders and revenues dropped 13 per cent last year, and the city has said it will adjust for the dip without cutting any routes.
City Council also recently approved the first new fare hike for Brampton Transit riders since 2023, bringing the total cost for a cash fare up to $4.75 from $4.50. Find out how much more it now costs to take the bus in Brampton.
