Amad Diallo has spoken about the influence Casemiro and three other senior Manchester United players have had on his development since joining the club.
Casemiro is expected to leave Old Trafford after the 2025-26 season, with Manchester United deciding not to trigger an extension on his current deal.
The 33-year-old Brazilian had a significant resurgence during Ruben Amorim’s time in charge, especially during the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
Playing alongside Bruno Fernandes in a two-man midfield, Casemiro was central to Amorim’s system throughout that season.
Following Amorim’s dismissal, Michael Carrick took over as interim manager, and Casemiro has remained an important part of the setup under the new regime.

Amad Diallo has often spoken about the influence Bruno Fernandes has had on him since he arrived at Manchester United, both on and off the pitch.
But when asked if anyone else at the club stood out to him, the 23-year-old winger named a few others who have made an impact.
He mentioned Casemiro right away, then went on to highlight Harry Maguire and Lisandro Martinez as well.
“Apart from Bruno, I think everyone is very important for me,” he said on Manchester United’s Inside Carrington podcast.
“I learn every day from experienced players like Casemiro. He came from Real Madrid, he won everything. So having players like this in the dressing room is very important.
“Having players like Lisandro, who also won the World Cup. Players like Harry Maguire, even if he’s not the captain, but he’s a big leader in the dressing room.”
Tom Heaton recognised by Amad Diallo as another valuable veteran presence at Man Utd
Along with the likes of Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Fernandes, and Casemiro, Amad didn’t overlook Tom Heaton when talking about experienced voices around the squad.
“Tom, an unbelievable player, an unbelievable man,” he added.
“He talks with everyone; he gives advice to every young player. So having people like this in the dressing room is very important for young players like us because they tell us to be humble.
“And even when we do things great, they tell us to be humble and to do things right and to go step by step.”
The Red Devils are sitting fourth in the Premier League table and will return to action on 23rd February against Everton at Goodison Park.
