Following its approval by the Approved Body Configuration (ABC) Committee in December 2025, the Five Star Bodies Direct Connection-licensed NextGen Dodge Charger Nose has now received official approval from NASCAR for use in Late Model Stock competition.

After completing additional NASCAR-directed wind tunnel testing and aerodynamic validation, the Direct Connection-licensed Dodge Charger Nose met all required performance and parity standards, clearing the final step for competition eligibility. The approval confirms the nose’s compliance with NASCAR’s aerodynamic balance, drag, and downforce requirements while maintaining parity across manufacturers.

The ABC Committee initially approved the NextGen Dodge Charger Nose after an extensive evaluation process, marking the return of Dodge to short track competition. Subsequent testing conducted in collaboration with NASCAR ensured the design aligned with Late Model Stock specifications and competitive benchmarks.
