Formula 1 pre-season testing in Bahrain has concluded after two separate test sessions, giving teams six days to prepare for the upcoming season. Ferrari recorded the fastest overall lap thanks to Charles Leclerc’s 1:31.992, although the time remained over two seconds slower than last year’s reference pace due to new regulations, tyre allocations and programmes focused mainly on race simulations.
Looking at combined mileage from both Bahrain tests, McLaren completed the most running with 817 laps (4,422 km), underlining strong reliability and a comprehensive preparation programme. Haas followed with 794 laps (4,297 km), while Williams was close behind on 790 laps (4,275 km).
Ferrari logged 744 laps (4,027 km), while Racing Bulls (733 laps) and Mercedes (714 laps) also exceeded the 700-lap mark. Audi completed 710 laps and Alpine 677, suggesting solid but slightly more conservative programmes. Red Bull recorded 672 laps, focusing largely on longer runs rather than headline lap times.
