The best time of year is here! Major League Baseball’s Spring Training season gets underway this weekend.
For 2026, all thirty teams are getting colourful caps featuring flowery imagery on the front of the crown, on the logo’s left. The on-field caps are the standard New Era 59 Fifty style, though the company is offering *nine* different silhouettes at retail for the collection.

Clubs are getting slightly different designs depending on whether their Spring Training site is located in Arizona (Cactus League) or Florida (Grapefruit League). Arizona-based clubs will feature a blooming cactus, while the Florida teams will have an embroidered grapefruit. Side patches are also designed depending on the location, with a southwestern typeface and a desert/cactus landscape on the Arizona clubs and a Miami Vice-style number and sunny Florida beach/palm tree lockup on the Florida teams.

There are also some location-specific designs on the inside of the cap, with Florida and Arizona teams getting different landscapes inside the crown. Arizona teams with a typical Southwestern-style desert design, and the Florida clubs with a Florida Everglades-esque scene. Under the visor, the individual team’s Spring Training host city is stitched in:

Most clubs are using their usual cap logos, sometimes slightly recoloured to appear better on a secondary coloured crown. A few exceptions here, the Los Angeles Dodgers are using a scripted “D” instead of the interlocked “LA”, the Marlins are using the fish on its own, and the New York Mets look to win the league with the use of their mascot, Mr. Met, wearing sunglasses on the front of their cap.
