Edmonton police say they are hoping to get their hands on video footage of a shooting in the city’s southeast on Friday in which a man was injured.
The Edmonton Police Service says the shooting happened around 6:17 p.m. near Watt Common SW and 50 Street SW.
Officers arrived to find a 32-year-old man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital with injuries that police say are non-life-threatening.
Investigators say the shooting does not appear to be random.
Edmonton police are asking anyone with dashcam or security footage from the area between 6-7 p.m. on Feb. 13 to contact them at 780-423-4567.
The investigation is ongoing.
