A 51-year-old man from Peel Region is accused of sexually assaulting a woman at her Toronto workplace multiple times for more than two years.
Toronto police said they were called to the area of Leslie Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West on the afternoon of Feb. 10 for a sexual assault.
Officers later learned that the alleged sexual assaults occurred between Aug. 1, 2022, and Dec. 31, 2024.
As a result of their investigation, police arrested Mohammed Shaik on Saturday. He has been charged with five counts of sexual assault.
Police have released Shaik’s photo, saying they believe there may be more victims.
