A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in North York on Saturday night.
Toronto police say a call came in at 8:13 p.m. for a collision in the area of Yonge Street and Wedgewood Drive, south of Steeles Avenue.
The pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries, police say.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle, police say, remained at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are not immediately known.
