An Ottawa man is facing charges after an investigation by Ottawa police found evidence that a sex-related crime was committed against a person with a disability.

According to officials, an investigation was launched in early January and involved one male victim. The offences happened between September and December 2025.

As a result, Robert Gorley, 71, was arrested and charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a person with a disability.

Police believe there may be other victims. The investigation is ongoing.
