A new wave of immersive art is about to make a splash in Montreal’s Old Port.
This February 24, 2026, Panorama Expérience officially opened its doors at the Grand Quay of the Port of Montreal, introducing a bold cultural destination dedicated to the dialogue between nature, technology, and contemporary storytelling.
Created by Infinity Experiences following a public call for proposals, Panorama Expérience is envisioned as a must-visit waterfront venue where immersive journeys unfold just steps from Old Montreal and the cruise terminal.
Located at 200 de la Commune West, on the second floor of Terminal 1, the space promises to become a vibrant laboratory for large-scale installations that invite audiences to see the natural world through a new lens.
Living Waters: An Immersive Opening Voyage
Launching the venue is Living Waters, a powerful inaugural experience centered on water and the fragile ecosystems that depend on it. Through spectacular visuals, cutting-edge technology, and deeply poetic storytelling, visitors are invited to explore aquatic life from multiple perspectives.
The exhibition unfolds as one journey with four distinct artistic paths:
Seeing Echoes in the Mind of the Whale by Marshmallow Laser Feast
Making its North American premiere, this breathtaking video installation plunges audiences into the sensory world of cetaceans. Guided by scientific data and luminous imagery, visitors follow bottlenose dolphins, humpback whales, and sperm whales from the ocean’s surface to its mysterious depths, experiencing how these majestic beings perceive sound, space, and movement.TADPOLES: The Big Little Migration by Maxwel Hohn
Filmed over four years in an isolated lake in British Columbia, this intimate documentary captures the extraordinary daily migration of millions of Western toad tadpoles. It is a rare and mesmerizing look at a fragile natural phenomenon few have witnessed.Entrer en flagrant délit de légender by Maryse Goudreau
Revisiting four decades of media coverage surrounding belugas, Goudreau weaves headlines and archival imagery into a thoughtful reflection on how narratives shape our perception of wildlife and environmental issues.Hong Kong Soup: 1826 by Mandy Barker
In its Canadian premiere, this striking photographic series transforms plastic waste collected from Hong Kong beaches into visually captivating compositions. Beautiful at first glance, the works reveal an unsettling truth about the scale of marine pollution.
A New Cultural Landmark on the Waterfront
Panorama Expérience marks an exciting new chapter for the Grand Quay. The collaboration between the Port of Montreal and Infinity Experiences aims to offer an accessible, high-quality cultural attraction that enhances the city’s tourism and artistic landscape.
More than a one-time exhibition hall, Panorama Expérience is designed as an evolving destination. Montrealers and visitors alike will be able to return regularly to discover new immersive works from both local and international creators.

With the St. Lawrence River as its backdrop and innovation at its core, Panorama Expérience is poised to become one of Montreal’s most captivating new cultural experiences of 2026.
