The work for the next NFL season is already underway.
The league never sleeps, as weeks removed from the Super Bowl teams are already overhauling the roster for the upcoming season. The first major domino in that process begins next month, as NFL free agency kicks off.

Free agency officially opens at 4 p.m. ET on March 11, which is the start of the 2026 league year. At noon ET on March 9, pending free agents can begin negotiating with other teams and agreeing to deals.
