Martin Short‘s daughter Katherine has reportedly died at the age of 42.
TMZ is reporting that a “law enforcement source” revealed the news that she took her own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. This has not yet been confirmed by the Short family.
They say the LAPD arrived at her home on Monday evening (February 23) in the Hollywood Hills, where she was found.

The site reports that she worked as a social worker in the Los Angeles area.
Katherine was the adopted daughter of Martin and his late wife Nancy, who passed away after a cancer battle in 2010. Katherine kept largely out of the spotlight for the past several years, but did walk some red carpets with him throughout his decades-long career.
