Transport Quebec says road work will continue on Highway 40 at the Charles-De Gaulle Bridge over the coming weekend.
Officials say that one of three lanes in both directions on Highway 40 will be closed between Gouin Boulevard East in Montreal and Route 344 — Saint-Charles Road — between 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27, and 4 a.m. on Monday, Mar. 2.

During the partial closure, some lanes may be reduced to 3.3 metres in the construction zone, and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h.
Motorists are being advised to check Quebec 511 before hitting the streets, as work may be postponed, extended, or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
