The eight-storey Maclean Publishing Building, opened in 1928, is on its way to a rebirth as part of The United BLDG, a towering 55-storey project now rising at Dundas and University in Downtown Toronto. The masonry walls will be reconditioned while technologically up-to-date glazing will reflect the building’s Classical Revival style, leaving it looking young again.
