City of Edmonton to explore tougher taxes on vacant commercial buildings
Less than a week after fire destroyed the Jasper Place Hotel in west Edmonton — and another empty building fire in downtown Edmonton, Monday — city and business leaders want more enforcement on derelict commercial properties.
