This free, accessible gym aims to improve community fitness as part of a broader initiative to upgrade facilities at Morgan Recreation Ground.
The gym was officially opened by Team GB gymnasts Keren Trainer and Josh Hunter.
Their presence gave the launch a celebratory feel, underlining the ambition to inspire more people, especially younger residents, to get active.
The facility offers a variety of exercise possibilities to individuals of varying ages and fitness levels.
The gym includes equipment from cardio machines to strength-based stations catering to everyone from beginners to experienced fitness enthusiasts.

The layout enables users to create their own circuit-style workouts, while the clear signage ensures even novice exercisers can use these facilities safely and effectively.
The gym, which cost about £40,000, was funded by Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) contributions.
Overseen by Crowthorne Parish Council, the new project reflects the parish council’s commitment to reinvesting development money back into local facilities that benefit the whole community.

The gym complements the existing walking and jogging paths around the Morgan Recreation Ground, providing locals with the opportunity to combine a walk or run with a quick strength and conditioning session.
With the gym offering free use throughout the day, barriers such as cost and time-constraints, often an issue with traditional gym settings, are mitigated.
The opening ceremony was attended by councillors and local families.
At the opening, councillors highlighted the importance of creating inclusive spaces where residents can meet, exercise and feel part of village life.
Bracknell Conservatives said on Facebook: “This is exactly what developer money should be used for. Improving facilities that local residents can actually use.
“Credit to the parish councillors and staff involved in getting this over the line.
“When local councils focus on practical improvements and visible results, communities benefit.”
Outdoor gyms have become increasingly popular as a simple way to build activity into daily routines, and the Morgan Recreation Ground site is well-placed for parents after school drop-off, older residents on daytime walks and commuters at either end of the working day.
With a steady rise in popularity of outdoor gyms, this new facility is expected to encourage Crowthorne residents to incorporate regular exercise into their weekly routines.
The additional walking and jogging tracks around the Morgan Recreation Ground can be combined with the gym for a comprehensive workout experience.
