We have charged three people following a robbery last month.
On Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, three masked men entered a jewellery store in the 500 block of Dalhousie Drive N.W., and smashed several glass cabinets with hammers. Â They removed jewellery from those cabinets, then fled the store along with a fourth man who’d been standing at the door. Â All four individuals left the scene in a stolen black, Ford F-150 that was parked and running outside.
The cost of the stolen jewellery and damage to the store is estimated at $200,000.
Following an investigation into the robbery, police have arrested two people and are seeking a third.

Austin James FLORELL and Jonathon Michael ORGILL are in custody and are scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026.
Joed Leonard SMITH remains at large.
He is 6’0″ tall, approximately 198 pounds, bald, has blue eyes, and is heavily tattooed.
