56 Days – Official Trailer | Prime Video – YouTube

“56 Days” is Prime Video’s newest compulsive crime thriller, and it’s clearly pulled viewers in. Billed by Prime Video as “a unique crime story and a riveting, sexy, psychological thriller,” this eight-part series debuted last week and quickly became the streamer’s No. 1 offering.
If you’re yet to tune in, “56 Days” introduces us to two singletons, Oliver (Avan Jogia) and Ciara (Dove Cameron), who, after a chance meeting at a supermarket, quickly fall for one another dangerously hard. Fifty-six days later, we watch as homicide detectives arrive at Oliver’s apartment, only to find an unidentified body — brutally murdered and intentionally decomposed.
Did Oliver kill Ciara, or vice versa? The series then intercuts between the twisted, rapid trajectory of their love affair in the past and an intense day in the present as the detectives try to unravel what just happened.

Cross Season 2 – Official Trailer | Prime Video – YouTube

“Cross” season 2 brought Aldis Hodge’s decorated D.C. detective back for another case earlier this month, and new episodes have continued to drop each week.
After tackling a sadistic serial killer back in November 2024, this new instalment sees Alex Cross on the trail of a ruthless vigilante who’s hunting down corrupt billionaire magnates.

Reviewing the series at its launch, TG’s Malcolm McMillan offered the show a 3-star rating, writing: “Cross” season 2 repeats much of what worked — and didn’t work — in season 1. But that means if you love this thriller series’ dark twists and turns, its charismatic lead and compelling performances, then you’ll love season 2 just as much as you did season 1.”

STEAL – Official Trailer | Prime Video – YouTube

I’m a big champion of “Steal,” the fast-moving British heist thriller starring Sophie Turner that came to Prime Video back in January, so I’m thrilled to see it’s still in Prime Video’s charts; after just one episode, I was hooked, and I continued to enjoy the wild ride that followed.
The series revolves around a high-value heist at the office of a pension investment fund. On an ordinary day, a gang of ruthless armed thugs storm Lochmill Capital and force Zara (Turner) and her best mate Luke (Archie Madekwe) to execute their demands and transfer over billions of pounds’ worth of ordinary people’s pensions to them — but why do it? That’s what DCI Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) is determined to find out… but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, Rhys has his own problems, and must grapple with those problems while navigating the secrets of this twisting, far-reaching crime.
