Get your bowling shoes ready, because national entertainment brand Splitsville Bowl is opening a huge 10-pin bowling alley in Edmonton later this week.

The location, nestled in northwest Edmonton at Christy’s Corner (13543 St. Albert Tr. NW), will span approximately 31,000 square feet. It will include 21 lanes of 10-pin bowling, interactive games, VIP lanes, lounge-style seating, and lane-side food and drink service.

Splitsville Bowl is known for its modernized take on the classic bowling experience (you can keep your own shoes on), with an emphasis on food, drinks and a variety of entertainment options.

It’s the first expansion into the city after building a strong presence in Calgary, with four locations and a fifth opening in the city this fall.

“Our success across Calgary has shown us just how much Albertans value shared entertainment experiences,” said Andy Johnson, managing director at Splitsville Bowl. “Expanding into Edmonton was a natural next step.”

With the first Splitsville bowl location opening its doors on Friday, Feb. 27, it won’t be long before Edmonton has a second location.

The second centre, planned for South Common, will feature 27 bowling lanes and additional space for group and community gatherings. It is set to open in early 2027.
