The rematch between boxing legends Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally happen 11 years later, as they are scheduled to headline the boxing event on Sept. 19 at the Sphere in Las Vegas.
Because of his previous victory during their first meeting in May 2015, Mayweather is going to be the slight betting favorite with -175 boxing odds. Meanwhile, Pacquiao, who recently got out of retirement and had a draw result in his comeback fight, will be the slight betting underdog with +150 odds. A draw result has odds of +1600.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao 2: Prediction
I predict a unanimous decision win for Mayweather over Pacquiao in this rematch, as the former’s fighting style fits perfectly against the latter. Mayweather is still a great counterpuncher and defensive fighter, which is why I think this illusiveness will be key in a repeat win over “Pacman.”
Both will also be fighting their respective battle with Father Time, as they are obviously past their primes. However, their fighting style remains the same after over a decade, with Pacquiao as the aggressor and Mayweather as the counterpuncher.
The biggest kryptonite to Pacquiao’s all-out attack and combinations is a counterpuncher, and Mayweather is among the all-time greats in this category. This effectively neutralizes Pacquiao’s offense because he’s cautious about punches that could swing back at him.
I believe that Mayweather will still employ the same blueprint he used from their previous fight, land more clean punches, and score on the judges’ scorecards, en route to another decision win, regardless of whether Pacquiao comes in at 100% and injury-free.
Floyd Mayweather’s Recent Fight Results
Mayweather was a former Olympic bronze medalist and a five-division boxing world champion. He’s also an undefeated boxer with a 50-0 pro record. Before he retired in 2017 and went on to compete in exhibition matches, his last five wins were against Marcos Maidana (twice), Pacquiao, Andre Berto, and Conor McGregor.
Manny Pacquiao’s Recent Fight Results
Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to win world titles across eight different divisions. He came out of retirement in July and fought Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title, but the bout ended in a majority draw. Before that, he recorded three wins over Lucas Matthysse, Adrien Broner, and Keith Thurman, and lost to Jeff Horn and Yordenis Ugas.
