Police are asking for witnesses to come forward following a two-vehicle crash that left a Brampton man dead this week.

The OPP says the collision happened around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday on County Road 124, just north of 20 Sideroad in the town of Melancthon, approximately 70 kilometres north of Brampton.

A 24-year-old man from Brampton was injured in the crash and rushed to a Toronto-area hospital.

He was later pronounced dead. Police have not released the victim’s identity.

The OPP says an investigation into the collision is underway, and investigators are asking witnesses to the crash to come forward.
