One man has been arrested while a second suspect, who could be armed and dangerous, is wanted on a Canada-wide murder warrant following a shooting in Brampton.

The shooting happened on Aug. 19 when Peel Regional Police say two suspects came to a home near Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway in Brampton.

Two victims were shot and one of the victims died, while the other was treated for gunshot wounds and later released.

The identites of the victims has not been disclosed.

Dilpreet Singh, 24, of Brampton was arrested in October and charged with first-degree murder, but police now say a second suspect is also wanted in the shooting.

Peel police say Manpreet Singh, 29, of no fixed address, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for first-degree murder and attempted murder with a firearm.

Singh is described as s South Asian male standing around 5’10” with a medium build, straight black hair, and brown eyes. He has a full beard and a right forearm tattoo reading “Manna (heart symbol) Sukh,” investigators say.

Police say it is believed Manpreet “may be armed and dangerous,” and say anyone who spots him should not approach and call 911 immediately.
