Disney and Formula 1 are continuing their “Fuel the Magic” collaboration in 2026 with a new WEBTOON series, exclusive merchandise, fashion launches, and immersive Grand Prix fan experiences worldwide.

Ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 race season, Disney and Formula 1 have announced the continuation of their multi-year “Fuel the Magic” collaboration. In November 2025, Mickey Mouse was on hard for the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and 2026 will see a continued collaboration between the two companies throughout race season. Disney has announced a racing-inspired content series, new brand products, and more.

A Season-Long Story Begins at the Australian Grand Prix

The 2026 “Fuel the Magic” campaign kicks off at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix with a new racing-inspired content series designed to keep fans engaged between race weekends.

According to Disney Consumer Products President Tasia Filippatos, the collaboration builds on the cultural momentum sparked during its first year.

“Formula 1 and Disney sparked a cultural moment felt worldwide — and it was only the beginning,” Filippatos said. “This year is about turning that moment into a season-long story.”

From Australia, the campaign will accelerate into additional global race stops, including the Chinese Grand Prix, with new activations and fan experiences planned throughout the season.

New WEBTOON Series Brings Mickey & Friends Into the Racing World

One of the biggest announcements tied to the 2026 collaboration is the debut of an original digital comics series created in partnership with WEBTOON.

Titled Mickey X Formula 1 Racing to the Top!, the vertical-format comic will launch globally on March 6 during the Australian Grand Prix. New episodes will be released throughout the season, timed to coincide with race weekends.

Designed with a new generation of fans in mind, the series blends the creativity of Disney’s Mickey & Friends with the drama and teamwork of elite motorsport. In the story, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy unite to support a struggling racing team, highlighting themes of collaboration, resilience, and friendship.

The digital format allows fans to stay connected to the racing narrative even when the cars are off the track, expanding the reach of both brands into new storytelling spaces.

“Fuel the Magic” Merchandise Expands at Global Grand Prix Events

In addition to digital content, fans can expect a growing lineup of Disney x Formula 1 merchandise tied to select races.

Beginning with the Chinese Grand Prix from March 13 through 15, Formula 1 fanzones will feature retail pop-ups showcasing race-specific collections inspired by each host city. Items from the core Disney and Formula 1 assortment will also be available online through F1.com and the Amazon F1 store in the United States.

Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer of Formula 1, described the collaboration as more than a typical sports partnership.

“The continuation of our ‘Fuel the Magic’ campaign with Disney is far greater than just a sports partnership,” Prazer said. “We are offering more unique ways for new and existing audiences to engage with our sport and experience race events like no other.”

Select race weekends will also include special entertainment appearances, with Mickey & Friends embracing Formula 1 fandom through new racing-inspired looks.

Gentle Monster Unveils Fashion-Forward 2026 Circuit Collection

Fashion plays a major role in the next phase of the collaboration, starting with Gentle Monster’s upcoming 2026 Circuit Collection.

The global eyewear launch reimagines the structural design of Formula 1 cars through bold, fashion-forward silhouettes. The eight-style collection includes three exclusive designs inspired by Mickey & Friends, combining performance aesthetics with everyday wearability.

To celebrate the release, Gentle Monster will host pop-up experiences in Seoul and Shanghai featuring a monumental Mickey Mouse sculpture displayed alongside a Formula 1 car.

More Disney x Formula 1 Products Coming Soon

Following the success of last year’s Las Vegas debut collection, Disney Store will expand its lineup of collaborative merchandise throughout 2026.

The next wave begins with a Mickey Mouse plush wearing a Formula 1 uniform, launching first in Australia to coincide with the Australian Grand Prix before rolling out globally later in the year.

Additional collaborations with brands like Uniqlo are also on the way, alongside an expanded core collection spanning apparel, accessories, collectibles, and plush. Each piece is designed to capture the intersection of racing culture and Disney’s iconic characters.

Fans can expect more product reveals and announcements to arrive throughout the season as Disney and Formula 1 continue to build momentum for the evolving “Fuel the Magic” partnership.
